I went back to doodling and sketching out some ideas that could link to me as a person. I explored ideas of making my name into some sort of superhero symbol, using my favourite animal in some way to incorporate my name. I tried playing on my last name Storey and making a building out with the letters of my name. I had also played around with my confirmation name Ezekiel and changing it to Zeke for a symbol but it didn't feel like me.
Exploring the roots of my family name it turns out it is of Viking origin and probably came from the name Storr meaning 'Large Build' I tried to put a battle axe in and maybe play on the irony that I'm not exactly built like a Viking but again it wasn't for me.
Lastly I looked into my sort of jokey sarcastic nature and I've always thought my initials JKS looks like text speak for Jokes then it went further with JKES then I though why not just shove the O in from my first name but lowercase which created JoKES I had some ideas for this logo but nothing solid so thought I would play around a bit more on the computer with my hobbies and interests before sticking to anything solid.
