The Design Kids - OUGD602

Frankie visited from The Design Kids. As I love networking hearing from an agency that specialises in this was amazing. Frankie was really influential and passionate in what she does. I managed to speak to her a few times and asked a few questions within the talk. Frankie spoke about a job position opening in Leeds to organise events I was very interested in this and do have to say I approached about the opportunity before she offered money with the position, which is when most other people opted to apply. I managed to gain an email address from Frankie that she hadn't provided anyone else with after explaining my interest in networking and offering help to get in contact with YCN. She hadn't yet been able to contact them and I had a few contacts higher up in the networking section. After contacting Dean from YCN I was able to put them both in contact with each other. Frankie was very thankful for this. I have carried on showing my interest in the position through LinkedIn, Facebook and emails but have not yet heard anything more about the position or about events.
