An exhibition was being held at Colours May Vary featuring a variation of artists and designers. Some illustration students from LAU had their work up alongside agencies and studios. Lord Whitney had some work on display but I did not manage to find any of their team to have a chat. We managed to have a look around their studio and hear a talk from the directors of Lord Whitney in first year so it would have been good to talk to them once more as they managed to really inspire my practice. The exhibition was great I didn't manage to network as much as I would have liked, usually I attend these events with a smaller social group than I did and feel more at ease speaking to new people in those circumstances. I always mean to talk to and meet at least one new person at events such as these to make sure I can keep adding to my contacts within the industry.
